A step towards understanding the G20
Yesterday, Kairos had the privilege of meeting with the G20 Unit at the emblematic Palacio San Martín. Federico Pinedo, G20 Sherpa, welcomed us accompanied by Adriana La Forgia, Coordinator of the G20 Unit; Ambassador Horacio Fernández Palacios; and José Otegui, to share their experiences and reflect on Argentina's role in this key international forum.
The G20 and its global impact
During the meeting, Sherpa Pinedo explained the importance of the G20 as a space for cooperation between the world's major economies. Relevant topics such as the global economic agenda, climate change and the challenges of sustainable development were discussed, showing how these issues directly affect our societies.
The economy as a central axis
One of the most enriching moments was the analysis of the economic opportunities that arise from Argentina's participation in the G20. Pinedo emphasized the need to build consensus and the importance of the G20 as a space for cooperation between the world's main economies.
Inspiring new generations
This meeting was an invaluable opportunity for our young leaders to gain a closer understanding of how multilateral diplomacy works. The reflections shared by Federico Pinedo raised questions and motivated participants to think about their own role as agents of change in an interconnected world.
